Radio Free Sutter County/Sutter Lies

Well, gentle reader, a candidate for a local office, one John Buckland, did not like our pages and he wanted us to remove them. We thought we were fairly nice to Mr. Buckland (a lot nicer than we have been to others in our pages), yet he sent us two different e-mails "demanding" we retract our statements.  Well, I guess the Republicrat came out in Mr. Buckland and he thought he was still working for the police department and could just threaten people and have a person lick his boot.  Mr. Buckland, we still have, despite the Patriot Act, a First Amendment right to free speech. Or we may have this right until Cass Sunstein and Janet Nepolotano over at Homeland Security have their way.  I am sure Mr. Buckland contacted his friends at the Sacramento Fusion Center and they have worked so hard to find out who wrote these pages.  Never fear, the person who was threatened by Mr. Buckland to "Shut up...you've gotta live up here," is ready in the wings, if Mr. Buckland wants to make this an issue.  Now, without further ado here is the first letter sent to us by Mr. Buckland:
Web Content Creator,
The following statement is inaccurate and borders on libelous starting with the second sentence. What you present as fact is flat false. The Yuba City Police Department employs Deputy Chief Jeff Webster, ten years ago I was assigned to The Traffic Enforcement and Education Unit as the Sergeant in charge of our motorcycle unit. I was never in a position to speak with any person as it related to reported misconduct of a superior officer. Ten years ago Deputy Chief Webster would have held the rank of Lieutenant and as such I would not have been in a position to investigate such an allegation. Additionally, I never spoke to a father of underage female alleging police misconduct or a criminal act. In reference to any crime in Yuba City, I have NEVER uttered the words “you better forget about it… you live up here… do you know what I mean.” As clarification I have NEVER uttered words that could be construed by form, intent or misunderstanding to mean the same as the quoted sentence.
I demand you remove these comments. If you have someone making these claims I would like to meet this person face to face in the presence of the web site content creator. I will assist you in obtaining all records surrounding the reported incident to include (computer assisted dispatch records, incident or criminal reports and any record required to prove this allegation against me is false).
The Second letter, sent one day later parrots the above. Mr. Buckland's comments in Marxist Red, and our logical retort is is black.
Web Content Creator,

I demand removal of my name from the content listed under Yuba City Counsel The content is false. The Yuba City Police Department records all incoming phone calls. I have a simple solution to your ill advised and illegal allegations against me; simply demand a “public information request act” for the phone calls covering this time from the Yuba City police Department.
Radio Free Sutter County's comment: Your former employer records all incoming phone calls...but you did not say it records outgoing calls. The call we speak of was a call made to the un-named gentleman's work site and it came from the Yuba City Police Department.  Do not even go there when you speak of the "Freedom of Information Act."  We have demanded information through this act and all we received was a page with a letterhead and the rest of the page was blacked out. One member of our group was a dispatcher for a Sheriff's Department in Tuolumne County and he assured us it is very easy to turn off the recorders. Reports, if any, have long ago been sent down the Orwellian "Memory Hole."

Clarification as the time frame now narrowed to a specific year; in 1997, I was in a newly formed motorcycle unit. I was not answering phone calls unless directed to me by my traffic clerk. At the time I was responsible for overseeing $325,000 in grant funding from the California Office of Traffic Safety to start this unit. Further, the majority of my time was spent on the streets conducting traffic enforcement as the unit supervisor (sergeant).
Radio Free Sutter County's comment: Wow, the "majority of my time," statement once again begs the question: a majority of the time does not mean all the time."  $325,000 grant....how prestigious.  So that means that some poor dude in Shasta or Glenn County had to pay for a program in Yuba City.  Economics 101: the money has to come from somewhere.

The reference to the trading card poster appearing to resemble Hitler's Nazi Germany and S.S. recruitment posters is the most repulsive and personal attack you could have made. My family lost many members to the atrocities of Hitler. You will note that my last trading card was of me standing alongside a 1953 Ford “Police Cruiser” that I spent the past 15 years restoring for use in parades and special events. This vehicle is now the property of The City of Yuba City having cost the taxpayers zero dollars.
Radio Free Sutter County's comment: Typical  argument when you lose a discussion is to throw in the "Nazi Germany...atrocities of Hitler." We are sorry. One member of our group lost both sets of Grandparents in a camp, but that is not the issue.  The issue is this: trading cards of police officers carrying assault rifles.  These are trading cards? Yes, we have seen too numerous to mention pictures of police officers who are carrying side arms. We have no issue with an armed police department (as long as they are not acting like Judge and jury by executing people like that guy did at the BART station a couple of years ago). In addition to this,  I do not expect the police to carry water pistols or shoot spit wads at people but were these good images to present to the public?

The clock is ticking on the 24 hours.
Radio Free Sutter County Comment:  Or what? Are you going to sta
ge a Net-5 raid? Have your people pull us over?  Call your buddies at the Fusion Center and have us placed on some sort of subversive list?

Here is some of the comments from  the "Mommy Tsunami" people.  I guess they did not like our Libertarian logic in our analysis of their supping at the public trough.

Wow, I am SO glad that you opened my eyes to what a lazy bunch of whining takers that me & my son are. It's so nice to know that all I have to do is run right out there & find me a job that will pay for all my son's medical care. This must mean you also know where I can find trained babysitters who don't mind taking on a physically violent 15 year old with a mental capacity of a pre-schooler. Does this mean YOU will watch him until I get off work at 11pm? Because despite my college education & 20+ yrs work experience, the only job I could find was in retail for minimum wage. You're so right that I should have stayed in a physically & sexually abusive marriage just so I could remain financially dependent on my son's father & be the little woman who stays home & hides my retard away from narrow-minded people like you.
I try not to be a spiteful person. But for somone like you who can sit there & criticize without walking in my shoes, I'll make an exception. I truly hope and pray to God your grandchild or nephew is someday diagnosed with autism so you can feel the painful sorrow & constant financial devastation that I have lived for the last 12yrs

Sutter Lies Comment: Wow, calling upon deity to strike us down. Once again, I am sorry that you made a bad decision in your marriage, but once again a child has a mother and a father and they should pay....not me.

Here is a letter we received from former Police Chief Richard  Doscher in February 2012: :

Sir, people like you should not be on the internet. If I had my way, you pages would be removed and you would be under arrest! . One view of your pages and how you slander good men speaks about your political slant.

Gee, we are glad you 'don't have your way.' I realize  Doscher is no longer the police chief. This is unconscionable that a member of the Executive branch (a police chief) can spout such anti-first Amendment drivel. The First Amendment starts with the simple phrase, "Congress shall make no law........." In addition to the clear warning of the First Amendment, the Fourteenth Amendment also offers "Equal protection under the law." Sorry chief.....wallow in your own Communist juices .
