State Constitutional Officers and Judges

Yes, folks, we get to pick a new Governor!!! There is quite a bit at stake considering we have a stark contrast between the two Republicrats: Edmund Pat Brown, Jr., otherwise known as Jerry and Meg Whitman. A lot is known about “Jerry” because he is a re-tread from the late 1960's, the 1970's all the way up to 1982 when the last time he appeared on a Statewide ballot (until his run for Attorney General), when Jerry ran for U.S. Senate. Brown was soundly trounced by eventual California Governor Pete Wilson. Fortunately, in 1982 the citizens sent him packing off to Oakland where Jerry made a mess of things. Now there are a lot of things that Jerry did in Oakland that cannot be put at his doorstep, the sad shape of the Oakland City Schools. The Mayor, or Oakland City Counsel has nothing to do with a school district. A school district is a separate entity. However, the high murder rate and blight can be firmly put on Jerry's lap. Jerry Brown, as Governor accomplished a lot of bad things, which far outweigh the little, if any..

There was, of course, his forcing down the throat of California the “Consenting Adults Act” which made it legal to have sex with a farm animal. There was his failure to support Proposition 13 in 1978 and there was his hijinks with Linda Ronstadt in Libya. Of course, one cannot forget the increases in Welfare payments to drones that suck off the tit of the state. Welfare payments in California raised over150% during his eight years in office. Meanwhile the average salary of a State worker, during the same eight year period of time increased by only 13% and that was when each year from 1975 to 1981 we had double digit inflation and a tripling of fuel taxes, a one and a half percent increase in sales tax and a doubling of vehicle license fees. In fact, prices increased, on the average 67%. Oh, yes, Jerry was, to use his terms, “frugal.” When he was called on the carpet for slapping state workers in the face when they wanted a 3% cost of living increase, Jerry said, “State workers are paid in psychic dollars!” That is right, gentle reader, “psychic dollars.” Someone call Patricia Arquette. I will only mention, in closing Jerry's “Whore” statement. When I heard that on the channel 13 news, my wife and I said, “Yep, that was Jerry.” We remember Jerry Brown and quite frankly, we are scarred...very scarred. The day after Jerry gets elected the SEIU/CSEA (big State Employee Unions) the CCPOA (the prison Guard union) will be calling and I guarantee you, their hands will be out and Jerry (or should I say the taxpayers) are going to pay up. Meg Whitman, on the other hand, brings a lot to the table.

Whitman, unlike Jerry Brown, actually ran a business, A multi-national,, multi billion dollar industry. A lot of people are employed in the private sector, thanks to Meg Whitman. Even a member of our group has E-Bay to thank for making close to $500,000.00 last year, and that was during the Republicrat recession. One thing you can say about Meg Whitman, the powerful SEIU and the CCPOA (two of the most powerful unions in the State of California), can't bribe her. Meg Whitman has class. Usually, we do not endorse Republicrats, this time, we make an exception.

VOTE FOR MEG WHITMAN. AT LEAST your pocket book will be safe. With Jerry Brown, your pockets will not be safe...or your family pet.

Lt. Governor: the Republicrats have offered up Gavin Newsom, the Mayor of San Fransicko and Able Maldonado. That is like voting for tweedle dumb or tweedle dee. Members of our group are voting for Pamela J. Brown.

VOTE FOR PAMELA J. BROWN Don't vote Republicrat.

Secretary of State: VOTE FOR CHRISTINA TOBIN

Controller: VOTE FOR ANDREW FAVOR

Treasurer: The Republicrats offer us the incumbent Bill Lockyer. This guy has moved from State office to office, just spiking his Public Employee's Retirement System kick out. We need to send people like him packing back to Smog Angeles. Let him deal with the problems Lockyer has created since he has been in Sacramento, since 1970. Let us put that date into prospective, for those of you under age 30. The Vietnam was was still raging, gas was .30 cents a gallon and Ronald W. Reagan was governor and Richard M. Nixon was the President. Send Bill Lockyer packing and make him get a real job. Produce a good or service that someone would want to buy. I am sure he would loose that gut real fast if Lockyer had to depend upon the sweat of his brow to put bread on his table. Radio Free Sutter County's endorsement:

EDWARD M. TEYSSIER FOR CONTROLLER

Attorney General: The Republicrats have “vetted” one Kamala Harris, the District Attorney of San Fransicko as their standard bearer. Ms. Harris, time and time again has refused to prosecute cases that could result in the Death Penalty, instead opting to plea deal cases to simple 25 to life. Ms Harris even refused to seek the Death Penalty in the case of the murder of a San Francisco Police Officer. We think this is odd, since the San Francisco Police Officers Union actually endorsed her for Attorney General. Which goes to demonstrate that the Union hierarchy really does not care about the “peasants” at the bottom of the food chain. We are not a one issue group. The Death Penalty is not our “litmus test” to determine a candidates suitability we just believe the Republicrats have not offered us any good choices.

VOTE FOR TIMOTHY J. HANNAN.

Insurance Commissioner: Wow, the Republicrats have two candidates that are bought and paid for by the insurance companies. Just visit the Secretary of State web site and see who has contributed to both major candidates campaign. Blue Cross, Blue Shield, Nationwide, Allstate and Progressive have sunk big bucks into both candidates campaigns. That, in Texas Hold 'Em is what is called “hedging your bets.” Don't fall for the insurance companies candidate. Radio Free Sutter County endorsement is:

RICHARD S. BRONSTEIN FOR INSURANCE COMMISSIONER

United States Senator: Republicrat Barbara Boxer has been around in Washington for 28 years. It's time to send her packing. I will forget the House Banking scandal, where it was discovered Boxer kited close to $200,000.00 worth of checks. Boxer's experience as a member of Congress came in handy as she ran deficits in her personal checking account. Let us not forget the House Post Office. She laundered close to $100,000.00 through that organization. Barbara Boxer, if she were born in a different age would be hardly qualified to run a woman's undergarment store in Brooklyn, New York. What in the Sam Hill do you think qualifies her for Senator?

VOTE FOR GAIL LIGHTFOOT

Judicial offices: VOTE NO on the confirmation of any Judge either for State offices or local offices. If it is the case of an incumbent Judgeship, vote for the challenger. Let us get a new group in that believes in the U.S. Constitution.
